Dr Rahul Gupta
Dr. Rahul Gupta received his PhD from Jiwaji University (Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India). His PhD project was focused on genetic polymorphisms of PE_PGRS33 gene in clinical isolates of pulmonary tuberculosis and their association with the host immune response in tribal groups of central India. Additionally, he has contributed in research projects at Department of Microbiology, Virology Unit, King George’s Medical University (Lucknow, India) and All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (Jodhpur, India). Altogether, he has good experience on molecular biology, human genetics, hand on experience on different sequencing platform, molecular diagnosis of human viral diseases and work experience in BSL-2/BSL-3 labs. Dr. Gupta’s current work is focused on investigating M. tuberculosis mediated drug metabolism.
