Ronewa Tshinavhe

Ronewa joined medicinal chemistry group at H3D in May 2022 as a research scientist.

Ronewa obtained BSc degree in Physical science majoring in chemistry and physics (2017) and BSc hons in chemistry at University of Johannesburg (2018).

Thereafter, Ronewa began his MSc in organic chemistry at the same institution under the supervision of Dr Paseka Moshapo and Dr Sandile Simelane. His research project involved the design and synthesis of aminopyrimidine carboxamides as anti-TB agents. He completed the degree in 2021 with distinction. Ronewa was also involved in demonstrating and tutoring undergraduate students at the University of Johannesburg.
