Dr Dylan Giffard

Dylan completed his BSc in chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Cape Town in 2014. His BSc Honours and Masters were completed in the Organometallic Research Group at the University of Cape Town under the guidance of Professor Greg Smith, where his main focus was the synthesis of potential anticancer and antimalarial metallodrugs. He pursued his PhD at the University of Auckland, with his work entailing the synthesis of self-assembled heterobimetallic cages for targeted drug delivery with Professor James Wright.

Dylan joined H3D as a post-doctoral research fellow in June 2024 and is currently working on the TB team.
