The Drug Discovery and Development Centre (H3D) at the University of Cape Town is pleased to announce that registration is now officially open for the 6th H3D Foundation Symposium, a flagship event bringing together leading scientists, researchers, and emerging scholars in the field of infectious disease research.

Building on the success of five previous symposia held in Cape Town and Livingstone, the 2026 edition promises to continue fostering collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange across disciplines at the interface of chemistry and biology.
About the Symposium
The H3D Foundation Symposium is a cornerstone event for H3D, providing a platform for global experts and early-career researchers to engage with cutting-edge science in drug discovery and development. This year’s theme will explore how integrated approaches in chemistry and biology can drive solutions to some of the world’s most pressing infectious diseases.
Participants can expect a dynamic programme featuring keynote presentations, scientific discussions, and opportunities to network with leaders in the field.
