Ms Bokamoso Sebati

Bokamoso Sebati holds a BSc in Life Sciences and an Honours degree in Biochemistry from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. She furthered her studies with an MPhil in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Cape Town, where her coursework built a strong foundation in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug safety, deepening her understanding of drug action and therapeutic efficacy.
Her master’s research focused on developing and validating an LC-MS/MS assay for the analysis of bedaquiline and pretomanid using volumetric absorptive microsampling, providing hands-on experience in analytical method development, validation, quality control, and data interpretation. Through this work, she gained proficiency in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and bioanalytical method validation.
In November 2024, Bokamoso joined H3D as a Senior Research Scientist, eager to bring her analytical expertise to impactful drug discovery research.
Outside the lab, Bokamoso enjoys spending time with family and friends, binge-watching TV shows, scrolling through TikTok, listening to music and podcasts, as well as catching up on some well-deserved sleep.research
