Dr Rosemary Swanson

Rosemary is a skilled biomedical scientist with experience in TB microbiology and immunology.

She received her B.Sc., B.Sc. Hons and M.Sc. in Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand, and her doctoral degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, researching experimental chemotherapy of tuberculosis (TB) at the KwaZulu-Natal Research Institute for TB and HIV (K-RITH). Thereafter, she did a post-doc studying recombinant vaccines for use in TB prevention at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, New York), next joining Washington University in St. Louis to research TB immunology.

She joined H3D in 2023 as an Investigator in TB Biology.
